Juan Carlos Perez Ferretti
Chief Executive Manager
Mr. Pérez-Ferretti has extensive experience from the shipping industry and has been with the Ultranav group since 1994, coming from the cabotage subsidiary Antares Naviera in Argentina, where he was Senior Vice President. He has been in Chile since 2005, taking different management positions in cabotage trades, gas, clean petroleum products and chemicals, and in 2020, he was promoted to CEO of Ultratank. Mr. Perez-Ferretti graduated from the blue MBA in 2021, the executive MBA program from Copenhagen Business School. Mr. Perez-Ferretti is an Argentinean citizen and resides in Santiago with his family.
Maximiliano Abadie
Senior General Manager – Head of USA
Mr. Abadie joined the Ultramar group in Buenos Aires in 2003 initially as a Trainee in the Freight Forwarding division and then worked as Ship Operator in the Agency Business. In 2011, he joined Ultranav and relocated to Santiago, where he gained extensive experience in shipping, working first in Operations for the clean tankers and then in Chartering for the chemical operation. In 2019, Mr. Abadie was appointed Head of Chartering for Chemical Tankers. He holds a Bachelor in International Relations and a Master in Business Administration. Mr. Abadie is fluent in English, Spanish, Portuguese and German. He is an Argentinean citizen and resides in Houston with his family.
Juan Pablo Guidugli
Senior General Manager – Head of Commercial
Mr. Guidugli joined the Ultranav group in Chile during 2005 where he gained extensive experience in shipping working in different positions in tankers, chemicals and gas. In 2012, he relocated to Denmark to lead the chartering desk of Ultragas ApS and in 2018 was appointed Chief Commercial Officer. In January 2021, he relocated back to Chile where he joined Ultratank as Head of Projects and Business Development. Mr. Guidugli holds a Master in Industrial Engineering and an Executive MBA, and most recently he finalized the Management Acceleration Program at INSEAD School in France. Mr. Guidugli has dual Italian/Chilean citizenship and resides in Santiago with his family.
Italo Rubio
Technical Manager
Mr. Rubio joined the Ultranav group via Humboldt Shipmanagement in 1995, where he gained extensive on board experience, handling the operation of tankers, chemicals and gas carrier as Junior and Chief Officer. He has more than 10 years of sailing experience in chemical tankers. In 2008, Mr. Rubio joined the Ultranav office as Operator in the Clean Product fleet, and during his career, he has been Operator and Head of Operations of Costal fleet, Pool Fleet and since 2016, he oversees the Operational Team of Chemical Tankers fleet. Mr. Rubio hold a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and resides in Chile with his family.
David Lara
General Manager – Head of Operations
Mr. Lara joined the Ultranav group via Humboldt Shipmanagement in 2007, where he gained extensive onboard experience handling the operation of LPG, chemicals, CPP, DPP vessels, carriers as Junior and Deck Officer. In 2013, Mr. Lara joined the Ultranav office as an Operator in the Cabotage fleet. During his career, he has been Operator and since 2022, Head of Operations of Chemical Fleet, where he oversees the Operational Team of Chemical Tankers fleet. Mr. Lara studied Naval Engineering at Universidad Austral de Chile, recently he finalized the Business Administration and Executive MBA program at Universidad Andrés Bello and resides in Chile with his family.
Pilar Ferri M.
Business Support Manager
Ms. Ferri holds a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Computer Science from Universidad San Francisco de Quito, Ecuador, and a Master in Business Administration from Universidad Carlos III of Madrid, Spain. With nearly two decades of professional experience, she has built a solid foundation in the shipping industry, having worked for an Ecuadorian maritime company and Lauderdale Tankers in EE.UU. In 2023, Ms. Ferri embarked on a new chapter in her career by joining Ultranav Group in Chile as the Business Support Manager. She is Ecuadorian and currently resides in Chile with her family.
