Ultratank concludes ammonia dual fuel ready chemical tankers

We are pleased to announce that Ultratank will welcome two ammonia dual fuel chemical tankers to the fleet.

Ultratank has concluded a 7 years time-charter for one 26,600 DWTstainless-steel chemical tankers newbuilding from owners CMB.Tech. The vessel is expected to be delivered by CMJL shipyard in January 2026.

CMB.TECH is renowned for its innovative approach in building, owning, operating, and designing a future-proof fleet powered by hydrogen or ammonia.

Additionally, we will also welcome a sister-vessel scheduled for delivery during the fourth quarter of 2025. This vessel set to join under a commercial agreement the Ultratank fleet.

Both vessels will be Ammonia dual fuel ready, supporting the Ultranav decarbonisation strategy, and our joint commitment to achieving a 50% carbon intensity reduction by 2023. To learn more about our sustainability approach and decarbonisation strategy, click here.
